Man killed in road accident in Cork

A man in his late 20’s has died in a road accident in Co Cork.

He was killed when his motorbike collided with a truck three miles outside Mitchelstown on the Cahir Road.

The accident happened at 3pm this afternoon.

It is the second major accident this Easter weekend.

Four vehicles were involved in a crash on the Arklow by pass in Co Wicklow this afternoon.

Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
