Taxi driver assaulted by three men in Wexford

A 63-year-old taxi driver is recovering in hospital this morning after being assaulted by a group of people in Wexford town last night.

The driver was hit over the head with a hammer and stabbed in the back of the neck by three men that he picked up in the St Aidan’s Crescent area of the town at around 11.30pm.
