The UUP’s Michael McGimpsey has launched a scathing attack on one of his former colleagues who has decided to stand for the DUP in a marginal constituency at the next general election.

Arlene Foster, who defected from the UUP to the DUP four months ago, is planning to contest the election in Fermanagh/South Tyrone, where Sinn Féin’s Michelle Gildernew holds the Westminster seat.
