Ahern invited to appear at Tribunal tomorrow

The chairman of the Mahon Tribunal has invited the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to give evidence before the inquiry tomorrow.

Mr Ahern expressed disappointment that his appearance before the tribunal had been delayed until after Easter, saying it could clash with international engagements.
