Students under influence in class, claims survey

One in three teachers have taught classes in the past year where some students were under the influence of alcohol or drugs, an ASTI survey has claimed.

The survey conducted by the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland highlighted a growing problem of indiscipline and unruly behaviour in Irish classrooms.
