Authority seeks cost-of-disability allowance

The National Disability Authority has called on the Government to provide payments to disabled people to help them meet the costs associated with their disability.

The authority published a report today that claimed the cost of living for people with severe disabilities was around €40 per week higher than that of other citizens.
