The number of disabled students in Irish third-level institutions has doubled in the past 10 years, according to the Higher Education Authority.

The number of disabled students in Irish third-level institutions has doubled in the past 10 years, according to the Higher Education Authority.

The authority said a study it conducted found that 1,300 disabled students were enrolled in such institutions, compared to 668 in 1993/94.
