CSO reports rise in industrial earnings

Average industrial earnings in Ireland increased by almost 7% last year, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO said the average worker in the industrial sector earned around €560 per week in December 2003, a 6.9% rise on the figure for December 2002.
