Govt urged to help rural publicans enforce smoking ban

A lobby group representing rural interests has called on the Government to establish a fund to help rural pubs comply with the workplace smoking ban.

Irish Rural Link claimed pubs in remote rural areas would be hit harder than their urban counterparts following the introduction of the ban at midnight last night.
