EU policies may spell end for Sellafield
The British Government may be forced to spell out a definite timetable for the closure of the Sellafield nuclear reprocessing plant under new policies being set out by the European Commission.
The EU has stipulated, as part of accession agreements, that similar facilities in Slovakia and Lithuania must be phased out.
