Accused Irish stalker may have fled US

An Irishman wanted in Massachusetts for stalking and harassing dozens of women by phone may have fled the US.

John McAuliffe, aged 44, who lives in Framingham, Mass, lost €20,300 cash bail when he failed to show up in court on Monday to answer charges of stalking and intimidation of a witness, police said.
