Teenage drug abuse increased during Celtic Tiger years

Drug abuse among Irish teenagers increased significantly during the Celtic Tiger years, according to a study carried out by the Health Research Board.

The study found that the rates of drug abuse among Irish teenagers in the 1990s was among the highest in Europe.
