Tánaiste calls for talks to resolve postal dispute

The Tánaiste Mary Harney has called on both sides in the postal dispute to agree to talks to resolve their differences.

Postal services in many parts of the country, particularly the eastern region, have been badly affected by the dispute which was sparked by the introduction of new sorting machines.
