Eleven children in hospital after fire

Eleven children are in Tallaght hospital after a fire at a hostel for asylum seekers in south Dublin this morning.

It is expected they will be discharged shortly.

A faulty television set is thought to have caused the blaze at the hostel on Oakley Road in Ranelagh.

The children live at the hostel with their mothers.

No one was seriously injured in the blaze.
