FF 'gave no receipt for donations'
A millionaire Pakistani businessman claims he donated up to IR£200,000 (€253,900) in cash to Fianna Fáil, without ever getting a receipt from party headquarters.
Sher Mohammed Rafique, who set up one of Ireland's biggest meat plants in Ballyhaunis, says he made several donations to the party from the 1970s though to 1992.
Rafique claims he was never given a receipt, which is contrary to the party's practice of fundraising.
Fianna Fáil says it is looking through records to check the truth of his claim.
