Conference to highlight discrimination against elderly disabled

The Irish Wheelchair Association is calling for an end to discrimination against elderly people with disabilities.

The association will highlight the current difficulties facing disabled people over the age of 65 at its annual conference in Dublin today.

Anne Winslow of the Irish Wheelchair Association says services aimed at the elderly in this country are not geared towards people with disabilities.
