FG to chose European candidates in east constituency

Fine Gael will choose its candidates for the European Parliament elections in the east constituency today.

The candidates are outgoing MEP Avril Doyle, broadcaster and journalist Mairead McGuinness, and Fine Gael councillor Michael O'Dowd.

The convention is being held in Kildare.
