Costello to meet Victims of Legal Profession Society

Labour Party TD Joe Costello is due to meet today with a group of people who claim they have been ripped off by unscrupulous solicitors.

The Victims of the Legal Profession Society wants Mr Costello to press for the appointment of an independent ombudsman to deal with allegations of corruption by solicitors.

The group said claimed many solicitors in Ireland were taking advantage of their clients and acting unethically for the sake of profit.
