Omagh families to press Ahern for inquiry backing

The Government will be urged to back calls for a public inquiry into the Omagh bombing today when victims’ relatives meet the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.

The Omagh Victims’ Group will travel to Dublin to hold its first meeting with the Taoiseach five and a half years after the Real IRA atrocity claimed the lives of 29 people, including a woman pregnant with twins.
