ICTU and ITs meet in apprentice fees dispute

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the directors of Ireland’s institutes of technology are due to meet today to discuss a dispute over the fees charged to apprentices.

The colleges are threatening to withhold exam results from apprentices who refuse to pay the registration fees.
