DUP leader Ian Paisley has said he will not accept any attempt by the British government to delay sanctions against Sinn Féin over alleged ongoing IRA activity.

Speaking after a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London, Mr Paisley said: “Putting this on the long finger is not acceptable to us. The time has come for the two governments to show the people both north and south that this sort of activity must be over for all time.
