FLAC seeks reform of laws on consumer debt

The Free Legal Advice Centres (FLAC) organisation has called on the Government to reform Ireland’s laws on consumer debt.

The organisation said it was unhappy with the situation whereby the law judged people on the basis of the size of their debt rather than their ability to repay it.
