Spanish trawler detained off Galway coast

A Spanish trawler was detained off the Galway coast last night for alleged breaches of fishing regulations.

A Spanish trawler was detained off the Galway coast last night for alleged breaches of fishing regulations.

The fishing vessel was stopped by the Navel Service ship the LE Aishling approximately 60 miles off Galway Head .

It was escorted to Castletownbere for inspection.
