NCTs may be delayed by industrial action

A threatened strike could delay National Car Tests.

SIPTU is to ballot its members in the NCT services on industrial action, following the suspension of one of its members.

SIPTU wants the suspension lifted, and has said it is willing to enter into negotiations to agree a system, which would tighten the administrative procedures for testing.
