Hillwalker recovering after cliff fall

A hillwalker is recovering in hospital, after falling from a cliff at Mahon Falls in Co Waterford.

The man was airlifted in a joint operation involving the South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association and the Irish Coastguard Helicopter.

The crew was on exercises in the nearby Comeragh mountains when the incident took place.
