LRC to resume talks with Irish Ferries and unions on Monday
Talks at the Labour Relations Commission on a cost-cutting deal for Irish Ferries have concluded with an agreement to recommence talks next week.
SIPTU and the Seaman's Union of Ireland will return to the LRC on Monday afternoon.
Thursday March 11 has been agreed as the deadline for reaching a deal.
Irish Ferries wants to save €3.4m by shedding 50 staff and changing work practices.
SIPTU's Paul Smith says they're exaggerating the need.
