Two ex-Blackrock students convicted of violent disorder

Two more former Blackrock College students were tonight found guilty of violent disorder surrounding the killing of Brian Murphy outside the Burlington Hotel in August 2000.

Sean Mackey, from South Park, Foxrock, and Desmond Ryan, from Cunningham Road, Dalkey, both 23, were convicted of the charge by a unanimous verdict of the jury, which had deliberated for over 15-and-a-half hours on day 33 of the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court trial..
