Funeral of bus crash victim taking place today

The funeral of a 43-year-old man killed in last Saturday’s bus crash in Dublin city centre is taking place in Co Kildare this morning.

Kevin Garry was one of five people killed when an out-of-service Dublin Bus mounted the footpath on Wellington Quay and ploughed into a group of people waiting to board the number 66.

Two other victims, 43-year-old Teresa Keatley and 59-year-old Margaret Traynor, are due to be buried tomorrow, while the funeral of 69-year-old Kathleen Gilton is due to take place on Saturday.

The body of the fifth victim, 33-year-old Vasul Tyminskyy, has been sent back to his native Ukraine for burial.
