Ahern and McGuinness to discuss alleged abduction
The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Sinn Féin's chief negotiator Martin McGuinness are to meet in Dublin this evening amid a controversy surrounding an alleged abduction in Belfast.
Last Saturday the North's chief constable, Hugh Orde, said the provisional IRA were involved in the apparent abduction of Bobby Tohill - said to be a leading republican dissident.
