Noble jury considering verdict

The jury has retired to consider its verdict at the Central Criminal Court in the trial of a man and woman accused of murdering her violent partner.

Jacqui Noble (aged 38) of Knowth Court, Ballymun, Dublin, and Mr Paul Hopkins (aged 24) of Sillogue Road, Ballymun, both deny the murder of Mr Derek Benson (aged 33) at Sandy Hill Avenue, Ballymun, on May 13, 2000.

Today was the 30th day of the trial in which both accused have pleaded self defence.
