Worker dies in Co Clare building site accident

A 40-year-old worker has died in an accident on a building site in Liscannor, Co Clare.

The accident happened shortly after 9am at a private house under construction in the area.

The dead man was killed while unloading cut stone from a tipper truck that he was driving.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
