Conference on fighting AIDS opens in Dublin

A conference aimed at discussing ways to improve aid agencies’ response to the global AIDS pandemic is being held in Dublin today.

A conference aimed at discussing ways to improve aid agencies’ response to the global AIDS pandemic is being held in Dublin today.

The conference was organised by World Vision Ireland and was officially opened by Princess Zulu, a well-known Zambian AIDS activist who is herself HIV positive.

Speaking this morning, Ms Zulu said increased political involvement from countries throughout the world was essential if the AIDS pandemic was to be effectively tackled.
