An Bórd Pleanala has reportedly rejected U2's efforts to get taxpayers to foot the bill for their unsuccessful attempt to save their Dublin docklands studio from demolition.

The band had lodged a claim for the full costs of their failed challenge to the compulsory purchase of the studios on Hanover Quay.
