Woman recovering after Dublin attack

A woman is recovering from head injuries after she was attacked with an iron bar in south Dublin during the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened on the Lower Kilmacud Road at around 3.30am.

The assailant is described as 5'10" in height, of medium build and with short spiky dark hair.

Gardaí say he may have had an oriental appearance.
