McAleese visits DUP headquarters in Belfast

President McAleese has spent the day in Belfast and north Down, visiting predominantly Protestant areas including the headquarters of the DUP.

President McAleese was also made welcome at a local kickboxing club.

The founder of the club, Billy Murray, has said the club included hardliners from the local Protestant community but intolerance was not tolerated there, just trust, discipline and respect.
