Beverly Cooper Flynn seeks speaking time in the Dáil
Beverly Cooper Flynn has asked for time to make a personal statement in the Dáil.
Deputy Cooper Flynn is determined the public will hear her side of story following allegations made on TV3 news last Friday.
It was alleged she helped her father, Padraig Flynn, invest a IR£50,000 (€63,500) cheque in an offshore account to avoid tax.
Speaking prior to entering a council meeting in Mayo today, the TD has said she will seek speaking time in the Dáil tomorrow in order to set the record straight.
Ms Cooper Flynn has also hit out at certain media comments over the weekend surrounding the allegations.
