FG says e-voting launch shows bias

Fine Gael's North West candidate in the European elections Cllr Madeleine Taylor-Quinn has called for the suspension of the electronic voting system in the forthcoming European and local elections.

Cllr Taylor-Quinn said plans to launch the system should be put on hold until it has been scrutinised by a fully independent commission, and until it has the backing of all the major parties in the Oireachtas.
