Ahern to meet US advisor to North

The Taoiseach is to meet the new US special advisor on the North later today.

It is to take place in Government Buildings.

Dr Mitchell Reiss is to have a series of meetings with various Government Ministers during the day.

Bertie Ahern is expected to update Dr Reiss on recent political developments including the Government's commitment to continuing with the implementation of the Good Friday Agreement during the current impasse.
