The Morris Tribunal probe into garda corruption allegations went into private session today ahead of the opening of the second day of evidence from key witness Detective Garda Noel McMahon.

The in-camera session was approved for security reasons so that the tribunal could hear evidence for the first time from two unnamed officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
