Renewed appeal for info on missing woman

A renewed appeal for information is being issued for a missing Donegal woman.

Mother of four Dolores McCrea vanished a week ago and gardaí are mounting a series of checkpoints in the area of the last reported sighting of the 35-year-old.

Meanwhile charred human remains have been discovered in field just yards from her car.

Gardaí have indicated that no murder investigation is likely to be launched until the remains are identified, which could take anything up to six weeks.
