Snow and icy conditions forecast for coming days

Freezing winds, ice and snow are on the way to Ireland for the next few days.

A bitter cold snap is sweeping in from the Arctic and is due to reach Ireland tomorrow.

Met Éireann forecaster Gerry Scully says almost nowhere will escape and that snow showers are likely, especially in the northern half of the country.
