Committee begins hearings into Barron Report

The Oireachtas Justice Committee has begun hearings into the Barron Report on the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings.

The report was severely critical of how the Government of the time handled the investigation into the four bombings, which killed 33 people on May 17, 1974.
