Decision expected in Baliey libel case

The verdict was being given today in the major libel action English journalist Ian Bailey brought against eight Irish and British newspapers in the wake of a brutal murder in Co Cork.

Bailey, a former prime suspect in the case, is suing the titles for defamation, claiming that their coverage of his arrest and the subsequent inquiry, ruined his life.
