Robbery at shopping centre in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating a robbery on a security van in a shopping centre in Dublin.

A man carrying a gun snatched a moneybox containing cash from a member of security personnel in Kilbarrick shopping centre, at lunchtime today.

He escaped on foot to Grange Park estate and was seen getting into a Hiace van.

No shots were fired and there were no injuries.

Gardaí said they do not know if there was a driver waiting in the van.
