Tralee council faces dissolution

Tralee Town Council is facing the prospect of being temporarily dissolved after failing to agree a budget for the fourth time last night.

Members of the council voted by 11 to one to reject the proposed budget for 2004, despite knowing that the council faced dissolution when the deadline for agreement passed at midnight.
