Teenager sexually assaulted in Loughrea, Galway

Gardaí in Galway are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl in the town of Loughrea.

The girl, believed to be from the town, was walking in an area known as "The Walks" on the railway road when she was assaulted between 10 and 11pm last Thursday.
