Arts Minister John O’Donoghue has announced plans to hold special ceremonies throughout Ireland in May to welcome the 10 new countries due to join the EU this year.

Arts Minister John O’Donoghue has announced plans to hold special ceremonies throughout Ireland in May to welcome the 10 new countries due to join the EU this year.

Mr O’Donoghue said each of the 10 accession states would be welcomed into the EU during separate ceremonies in 10 Irish towns and cities.
