The Iranian government is dismissing rumours that the kidnappers of Irishman Aidan Leahy have been arrested.

The Iranian government is dismissing rumours that the kidnappers of Irishman Aidan Leahy have been arrested.

Intelligence Minister Ali Yunesi said the men who held Mr Leahy and two German tourists captive for almost a month are at large in Pakistan.

The three hostages were released last weekend and Aidan Leahy, who is from the Midlands, is expected to return to Ireland next week.
