Teen questioned in Dublin murder probe
A teenager is being questioned by gardaí this morning in connection with the murder of a man in Dublin.
The 18-year-old youth was arrested around midnight following a major search south of the city.
The body of David Sutherland, aged 54, was found in a lane at Pearse Gardens, Sallynoggin, by a local resident in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A post-mortem has revealed he died from severe head injuries.
Mr Sutherland, with an address of Sheelin Hill, Ballybrack was originally from O’Rourke Park, Sallynoggin, close to where his body was found.
Gardaí are questioning the 18-year-old at Dun Laoghaire station where he is held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
