The Fianna Fáil deputy Eoin Ryan is calling on the British Home office to launch an investigation into why the details of innocent Irish people were kept on secret file by Humberside police in the UK.

He says that Humberside police will have to explain why they could not keep records on convicted child killer Ian Huntley's alleged sex offending in the 1990's, while they were keeping details about innocent people of Irish descent.
